Woman hospitalised, another treated for shock after e-scooter crash in Norville

An e-scooter rider has been rushed to hospital after she was hit by a car in Bundaberg on Saturday. It comes just hours after six people were taken to hospital after a crash into a tree in the CBD.

A woman has been rushed to hospital after being hit by a car while riding an e-scooter in Norville, Bundaberg on Saturday.

Emergency services arrived at the scene shortly after 1.50pm and treated two patients at the scene.

The sole occupant and driver of the car sustained no external injuries but was treated for shock.

The e-scooter rider suffered injuries to her abdomen and was later taken to Bundaberg hospital in a stable condition.

It comes just hours after six people were taken to hospital after the Ford Territory they were travelling in crashed into a tree in the Bundaberg CBD.

A child on a scooter was also hurt after being hit by a motorbike in nearby Hervey Bay on Saturday.
