A Bundaberg man charged with possession of child exploitation material will remain in custody until his committal hearing in August.
Appearing via videolink, Mackinley James Hall faced Bundaberg Magistrates Court on Tuesday charged with four counts of possessing child exploitation material, nine counts of failure to comply with reporting obligations and one count of possession of drug utensils.
Mr Hall’s matter was adjourned until August 8 to allow his lawyer time to prepare their submission for the committal hearing.
His case will likely move to a higher court after the committal hearing, pending the Magistrate’s decision at that hearing.
Mr Hall will be remanded in custody until the hearing.
