Cedars Road crash: Six people, including children, assessed for injuries

Paramedics assessed six people, including two children, after the two-car smash southwest of Bundaberg.

With rain falling across the region, drivers are urged to remain vigilant as the Cedars Road crossing is known to go under water in wet conditions.

Six people have been injured in a two-car crash near Bundaberg.

Police and paramedics were called to Cedars Rd, South Bingera just after 1pm on Sunday where six people, including two children, were assessed for minor injuries.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said three units were on scene, assessing two children, two women in their 20s, and two men in their 30s.
All were reported to be in a stable condition.

Queensland Police Service confirmed the crash involved a ute and an SUV, with patients sustaining only superficial injuries.
Tow trucks were called to clear the vehicles.

Emergency services remain at the scene.
