Man in 20s suffers ‘significant’ leg injuries in crash at Watalgan
A young man has been taken to hospital after a crash where his car ended up on its side, in 2ft of water in the Bundaberg region.

A man in his 20s has suffered “significant” leg injuries in a crash at Watalgan in the Bundaberg region.
Paramedics were called to the scene at the corner of Rosedale and Winfield Roads where the car crashed down an embankment, landing in 2ft of water at 11.38pm Friday.
Queensland fire and rescue crews helped get the man out of the vehicle that was on its side in the water.
The young man was taken to Bundaberg hospital in a stable condition.
Earlier, emergency crews were called to a two-vehicle crash at Apple Tree Creek.
The crash happened on Drummond St at 9.58pm.
According to the Queensland Ambulance Service, a man was taken to Childers Hospital in a stable male condition while a stable woman was checked by paramedics on scene and declined a trip to hospital.
