Scooter rider's dangerous wrong-way ride

Bundaberg residents have reacted with shock after Brad Aplitt captured video of a scooter rider heading the wrong way down busy Takalvan Street.

Posted on September 27, the footage shows a man on a red scooter coming around a bend and riding eastward down the busy stretch of road.

A spokesman for the Queensland Police Service encouraged locals to make use of the many services on offer to dob in dangerous drivers.

“If it’s caught on camera, even better,” he said.

One such method is to report incidents at 13 HOON.

Locals can also call Policelink on 131 444.

Mr Aplitt shared the footage to the Bundaberg’s Worst Drivers Uncensored page, which has gained a huge following.

In May, the NewsMail spoke to the organiser of the page, who said he set it up as a platform to encourage people to do the right thing on our roads.
