New year celebrations turned violent on a suburban Bundaberg street amid reports a youth used a knife to attack other boys at a New Year’s Eve house party.
This publication understands community members had taken to social media to express their concerns at the rowdy party which overflowed with teenage guests and gatecrashers.

Police call for information in homicide investigation
Officers from the Bundaberg station confirmed they had attended an incident on the night.
“Police were called to a disturbance at a Bundaberg residence at 11.30pm on December 31,” a spokesperson said.
“Two 16-year-old boys were taken to Bundaberg Hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
“A 15-year-old Bundaberg boy will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.”
