Branyan crash closes Childers Road, one person taken to hospital

A crash between two vehicles in Branyan on Tuesday morning closed Childers Road for several hours, reopening at 10am.

Emergency services were called to the scene at 8.15am.

A man had to be freed from his vehicle by Queensland Fire and Emergency Services after being trapped.

He was taken to Bundaberg Hospital in a stable condition with hip and shoulder injuries.

Paramedics transported two patients to Bundaberg Hospital in stable conditions.

A woman, believed to have suffered a medical episode, was also taken to hospital in a stable condition.

One of the vehicles involved was a silver Subaru Forester.
