21-year-old dies after motorcycle crash at Maroondan near Bundaberg
A motorcyclist has died after colliding with a car close to an intersection near a school west of Bundaberg.

A motorcylist has died following a horror crash between his bike and a car about 40km west of Bundaberg.
Emergency services received the call at 11am after the collision near the intersection of Mellvilles Rd and Bundaberg Gin Gin Rd, close the Maroondan State School.
A 21-year-old Avenell Heights man was critically injured and died at the scene, a police press release stated.
The man was riding a red Honda motorcycle travelling west along Bundaberg Gin Gin Rd and collided with a silver Ford Ranger driving the opposite direction.
The driver of the Ford Ranger, an 81-year-old Horse Camp man did not sustain any physically injuries.
Multiple emergency service crews were called to the scene of the crash shortly after 11am.
The road was closed in both directions following the crash.
