4WD Supacentre Bundaberg opening with Black Friday sales

A popular Aussie outdoor goods store will open its 31st store in Bundaberg this weekend, but that hasn’t stopped people from trying to get in early.

Bundaberg 4WD Supacentre managers are celebrating as opening day comes closer.

A new hub for outdoor enthusiasts is set to open in Bundaberg as 4WD Supacentre celebrates the launch of its 31st national store this Black Friday weekend.

The three-day event will run from November 29 to December 1 at the new location on Johanna Boulevard in Kensington.

Following the opening of neighbouring store Anaconda, the business billed as Australia’s “Discount Kings” of the outdoor industry, is promising unbeatable prices on camping and outdoor gear during its Adventure Kings Black Friday Grand Opening Sale.

Shoppers are set to explore the new 4WD Supacentre in Bundaberg during its grand opening celebrations.

Sales manager of Bundaberg’s newest outdoor haven, Aaron Robinson, said customers should expect “crazy deals across the store”.

Luke Duncan has managed seven store openings in his position as national retail manager and is anticipating a big turn out.

In fact, some eager customers have been turned away after showing up to the new store early.

Mr Robinson, dressed to the nines in his 4WD Supacentre kit, recounted a story with a bar man at the local pub.

“I went down for a cheeky feed after work … the bartender has looked at me and said ‘when do you guys open’ … we had a conversation for five minutes before I realised I still hadn’t placed my order,” he said.

“Every single person I speak to on the street asks me when do you open.”

“All good things are worth the wait,” Mr Duncan said.

Mr Robinson encourages anyone showing up for the opening to “climb up into the roof top tent, pull down the awnings, take them up … everything is designed to be interacted and played with” the sales manager explained.

The new store, located at 50-52 Johanna Boulevard, aims to deliver affordable camping and 4WD gear to the Bundaberg community. Shoppers are encouraged to arrive early for exclusive deals and family fun during the grand opening weekend.
