Bundaberg man charged with assault, going armed to cause fear

Jamie Cameron Gear, 29, faced the Bundaberg Magistrates Court today charged with offences including enter premises and commit indictable offence, robbery with actual violence, three stealing after previous conviction, assault causing bodily harm, three enter premises and commit indictable offence, threatening violence by words or conduct, threatening violence discharge firearms or other act, and 18 of going armed to cause fear and assault occasioning bodily harm.

The matter was adjourned until May 31.

Earlier, a Queensland Police Service spokesman said about 12.10pm midday on Saturday, May 4 police were called to a disturbance on Bourbong St.

He said a man was found by police and taken into custody a short time later.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said a woman in her 30s was transferred to the Bundaberg Hospital.
