A local Bundaberg company has gone into liquidation owing thousands to the tax office.
Heidan Pty Ltd, a former courier company, voluntarily wound up last month.
The company was placed into liquidation on November 24 with Paul Nogueira appointed as liquidator.
According to liquidation documents lodged with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission, the company owes $200,000 to the Australian Taxation Office.
At the time of its liquidation, the company had one vehicle valued at $500 as well as $150 of cash in the bank.
Documents show that it isn’t the first time the company has considered liquidating.
In June, Heidan Pty Ltd had a close eye on its financial situation, five months before it shut down.
Insolvency was then being explored in July after the liquidator met with company director Daniel Stanton-Cook.
Mr Stanton-Cook then notified they would be looking at liquidating the company in early November.
Heidan Pty Ltd is the ninth Bundaberg company to go into liquidation this year.
Included in those nine was Bundaberg Refrigerated Transport who went into liquidation in September owing millions to its creditors.
