Trevor and Riecke Muchow are like Bundaberg‘s very own Mr and Mrs Santa Claus.
The Bundaberg couple invest around three weeks every year making their home as festive as possible, with twinkling lights, Santa and even this year‘s new addition of a projector screen.

Throughout the year, Mrs Muchow works on her miniatures and incredible Barbie dioramas which form part of the magical Christmas experience.
“We just do it to make people happy,” Mr Muchow said.
Mrs Muchow said the reaction from children in the region made it all worth it.
“They‘re squealing, as soon as they come in the driveway they’re squealing and once they come round the corner and see all the dolls and the miniatures, everybody really likes them,” she said.
Mrs Muchow‘s Barbie dioramas are incredibly intricate, and feature everything from elaborate Christmas settings to an elaborate Romany cart, though to a magical fortune teller.
