Elton John has landed at Sydney Airport after ringing in the new year with his family in Far North Queensland.
Stylish as always, Elton sported a bright red blazer and blue shorts with his signature tinted sunglasses to complete the look.
The Rocket Man upheld his reputation as a connoisseur of the finer things, travelling in a private plane on the journey from the tropical oasis of Hamilton Island.
Elton’s sons Zachary and Elijah donned more casual attire, walking ahead of their famous father with backpacks on, ready to enjoy what Sydney has to offer.
The 75-year-old musical icon will kick off the run of shows at Newcastle’s McDonald Jones Stadium on Sunday and will take to the stage at Sydney’s Allianz Stadium on January 17 and 18 with an extravagant show that celebrates the unprecedented success of his 50 year career.
The Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour, which began back in 2018 and was halted due to the pandemic, will also have shows in Melbourne and Brisbane before the star heads to New Zealand for more shows later this month.
