A Surfers Paradise man has pleaded guilty to three stealing offences within a period of three weeks, including theft of groceries worth more than $1600.

Braeden Mitchell Carrington appeared in Southport Magistrates Court on Tuesday on 10 charges, which also included public nuisance and contravening police banning notices.

He pleaded guilty to all charges.

The Surfers man allegedly stole three shopping bags containing 63 grocery items to the value of $1644 from Woolworths, Paradise Centre on April 17.

On April 10, he allegedly ran out of a JB Hi-Fi store holding a Google Nest Wifi system valued at $376.

And on March 30, Carrington allegedly walked out of BWS Surfers Paradise without attempting to pay for an $88 bottle of Grey Goose vodka.

Magistrate Kerry Magee urged Carrington to seek legal advice before he was sentenced.

“With your history, you’re at risk of imprisonment,” she said.

Carrington is due to appear in court again on August 17 for sentencing.

His bail was enlarged.
