An angry teenager smashed car windows, threatened to stab and shoot two bystanders and urinated on his cell floor during lockup in a tantrum thrown after fighting with his girlfriend.

Batesford’s Neil Millar, 18, fronted Geelong Magistrates Court on Thursday and pleaded guilty to the ugly incident.

The court heard Millar ran out onto the street on Twelfth Ave in Anglesea after fighting with his girlfriend on November 4 last year.

He was heard screaming and yelling before he became upset over a dog barking.

Two victims were sitting on a balcony facing the street.

Millar approached the pair and began swearing at them.

“F*ck you, you c*nts,” he said before threatening to stab them four or five times.

He also threatened to shoot them with a 9mm gun.

Millar’s girlfriend’s dad then came outside to remove Millar from the interaction.

As he was leaving Millar tried to rip the mailbox off.

He also went after a white Mercedes Benz parked in the driveway, owned by one of the men on the balcony.

He shattered two windows on the car causing $1000 in damage.

Millar yelled “I’m going to kill you c*nt” before shattering the rear windshield of a white Audi, causing a further $500 in damage.

The Audi owner was not present for the incident.

Millar was taken to the Geelong Police Station following the outburst where his tantrum continued.

In a 55-minute period, he urinated on the cell’s floor, kicked and punched the cell wall and pointed his hand at officers while making a finger gun signal.

The court heard Millar was not interviewed by police while in custody due to his unpredictability and that he did not have a lot of recollection from the incident.

Millar was said to have been under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the incident.

Magistrate Simon Gutherie noted that Millar was young and had “a lot to learn”.

“However, you have made a concerted effort to make positive changes after this incident,” Magistrate Gutherie said.

Millar was sentenced to a 12 month good behaviour bond without conviction and ordered to pay $1500 in compensation to the victims of the cars he smashed.
