A 35-year-old man has died in a horror three-vehicle crash south of Brisbane on Thursday morning.
Police said a Holden Barina was travelling along Beaudesert Boonah Rd near Lilybrook Rd at Coulson in the Scenic Rim about 8am when it veered on to the wrong side of the road, striking a Honda CR-V and LDV Maxus T60 utility travelling in the opposite direction.
The driver of the Barina, a Russell Island man, died at the scene.
A woman was taken to Brisbane’s Princess Alexandra Hospital with abdominal and pelvic injuries.
Another woman in her 30s and an infant were taken to the Mater Hospital in stable conditions.
Investigations into the crash were continuing. Witnesses or those with relevant information or footage were urged to contact Policelink on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
