A three-car crash that left a woman trapped in a vehicle has sparked major delays on the Pacific Motorway at Beenleigh.
Emergency services responded to a traffic crash on the M1 after a vehicle rolled onto its side, crashing into two other vehicles about 3pm.
Three lanes were blocked off initially and then reduced to two lanes, with the off-ramp to exit 34 closed off.
Northbound traffic has banked up back to Ormeau.
The female driver of the rolled vehicle was encapsulated, but then removed by fire services.
Her injuries are still being assessed and occupants of the other cars involved have not reported any injuries.
The woman was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital shortly after the crash in a stable condition.
Motorists are urged to expect long delays or seek alternative routes.
