A teenager who became trapped in her car after a serious collision with a truck on the Bruce Highway at Howard has been flown to Bundaberg Hospital.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman confirmed the woman, in her late teens, had been freed by emergency crews following the crash at 2.45pm Sunday near Lower Thomas St.
QAS said she suffered leg injuries.
Part of the Bruce Highway was closed following the crash, but was partially reopened and another closure is expected to remove the truck.
The teen was in a stable condition.
