Man in critical condition after near drowning incident
A man is in a critical condition after a near drowning incident in the waters off Agnes Water on Wednesday afternoon.

A man aged in his 70s was in a critical condition after a near-drowning incident in the waters off Agnes Water and 1770 on Wednesday afternoon.
The man was reported submerged for five minutes off Captain Cook Rd about 3pm.
Bystanders pulled the man ashore and performed CPR before obtaining a defibrillator from the nearby marina.
Paramedics took over CPR upon arrival and the man was flown to Bundaberg Hospital.
It was understood the man was revived at the scene, however he remained in a critical condition.
The LifeFlight crew was tasked to the scene near Agnes Waters at 3.50pm to assist the man.
He was further treated by the LifeFlight critical care doctor and Queensland Ambulance Service flight paramedic and flown to Bundaberg Hospital in a critical condition.
