An elderly man has died after he was struck by a car at Urangan overnight.
Queensland Police say the 73-year-old man suffered critical injuries and later died after he was struck by a car while walking on Elizabeth St near the intersection of Hibiscus St.
It occurred about 8.20.
The driver of the car was not hurt.
Forensic crash unit officers are investigating.
It comes little over a week since a 12-year-old girl was left fighting for life after being struck by a vehicle on Pialba-Burrum Heads Rd at Dundowran.
The occupants of a Toyota Hiace, an 82-year-old man and a 41-year-old man, were not physically injured.
