A home west of Brisbane has been left gutted after a large fire ripped through it on Monday afternoon.

A home has collapsed after a fire sparked at a property west of Brisbane on Monday afternoon.
Emergency services responded to reports of a house on fire at Janice St, Gailes, just after 3.30pm.
On arrival, firefighters found the single-storey brick and wood home engulfed in flames, as well as downed power lines.
As firefighters battled the blaze, a structural collapse took place, causing extensive damage to the dwelling.
The fire was extinguished at 4.14pm.
According to a Queensland Fire Department spokeswoman, everyone was accounted for and fire investigators will investigate the cause of the blaze.
