Driver smashes into guard rails on Peak Downs Hwy
A woman in her 40s has been taken to hospital after her ute collided with guard rails on the Peak Downs Highway.

A woman in her 40s has been rushed to hospital after her ute collided into guard rails on the Peak Downs Highway.
Paramedics were called to a scene at around 6.39am on Tuesday in Hazeldean near the Hogan’s Pocket Rd turn off.
A Queensland Fire Department spokesman said the driver was able to free herself from the ute.
The woman suffered head injuries and was rushed to Mackay Base Hospital at about 7.30 this morning.
A tow truck is on the way but it’s unclear whether lanes have been affected in both directions.
