POLICE are asking for public assistance to identify a man who exposed himself to a child earlier this week.
Plea for witness after man seen flashing, exposing himself in Port Douglas
The man they are trying to find was acting suspiciously at Mission Beach on Tuesday.
About 3.45pm a man riding a black mountain bike exposed himself to a child who was walking around Alexander Drive and Unsworth Drive.
The suspect is described as skinny in his mid 20s wearing orange multi-coloured shorts with a black and green baseball cap.
Police are asking anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage of the area from Tuesday afternoon to contact them.
An image has been released by detectives from Tully so anyone who may recognise him can come forward to police.
