Kelly shared her list in a TikTok video online and the cleaning pro didn’t hold back.

A professional cleaner has revealed the major cleaning ‘icks’ she absolutely can’t stand and one is so bad it turns her stomach. 

It can be difficult to keep on top of the cleaning in our day-to-day lives but with the New Year coming in many of us are looking for a fresh start.

If that's the case one cleaning pro has shared major ‘icks’ you must avoid. 

Kelly shared her list in a TikTok video online and the cleaning pro didn’t hold back.

“These are my three biggest ‘icks’ as a cleaner," she began her video. 

The first thing Kelly says she can’t stand is people cleaning their toilet seats with reusable cloths. 

“You know, a lot of people do it, and that's okay, but personally, I can't stand it. It turns my stomach," she admits. 

“I used to use the Klenex wipes, but now I just use a spray bottle and some toilet roll and flush it.

“No more putting cloths with God knows what on in the washing machine.”

There is an order you need to follow

According to Kelly, there is also an order in which you should follow to ensure your toilet is cleaned properly. 

“I like to clean my toilet the cleanest bit to the dirtiest bit," she shared. 

“Like I’ve seen a few other people cleaning the dirtiest bit first and then wiping the rest of it.

“It just turns my stomach. Put a bit of bleach in there and leave it to sit and do its thing.”

Kelly added anyone with sons needs to pay attention to the walls around their toilets. 

“If you have got boys, you wanna be washing your walls every time," she shared. 

“Next up is doing fancy patterns with the toilet roll. This is my biggest ick.

"How do you know that your cleaner is washing their hands after they've cleaned their bathroom and then touching your toilet roll, which you are wiping yourself with.”

She continued: “And then stamping it on the top with probably some limescale on there?"

“I know I wash my hands, but do you wash yours after you clean your bathroom and then do some fancy artwork with your toilet roll?”

“Just look how much it's gone through.”

Kelly confessed: “Probably gonna get lynched for this comment, but do you know what? This is my opinion. And I'm entitled.”

“You can just see how much it's wasted. It's. It's gone through a fair bit."

Never use the toilet brush

Lastly, Kelly admitted she never uses toilet brushes.

“Number three is toilet brushes. I've got one. I don't use it. They're absolutely disgusting," she shared. 

The cleaning pro’s video racked up over 310,000 views and many viewers agreed with Kelly’s arguments.

One user said: “I’m the same, I always use toilet roll or kitchen roll on the toilet.”

Another said: “I’ve said that about cloths for ages and no one gets it.”
