The acclaimed Burleigh Heads restaurant is considering opening a spin-off site to do more of its beloved at-home meals that continually sold out during COVID closures, such as their killer burgers and lasagne.

“People won’t stop asking us to bring them back so that’s an exciting possibility for the near future,” said Karla Munoz Labart, who owns the business with chef husband Alex.

Labart’s food is so good it could spark a divorce

Meanwhile, at the restaurant the duo is running a new seven-course set menu, which Labart said had proved incredibly popular.

“[We’ve had] massive support from Brisbane diners which has been amazing.”
