Move over sushi trains, a new sushi drive-thru has launched just south of Brisbane.

Mista Boo has opened in Logan Central offering all your favourite Japanese takeaway eats without the need to get out of your car.

The venue from husband and wife Sung Jun Boo and Mira Hong was designed to make the popular takeaway even easier, and has become a hit with drivers.

“They realise how convenient it is and they come back and come back and they keep using it,” Mrs Hong said.

The drive-through has been attracting around 80 vehicles a day, proving particularly popular with mums who didn’t want to take their children out of the car. That demographic is only set to grow further, with the business offering a free kids’ mini roll with an adults order to parents with a child in the car throughout September.

Mrs Hong said the chicken katsu rolls were so far proving the most popular, while Mista Boo also serves up everything from karaage and rice bowls to gyoza and spring rolls.
