City-siders will be able to get their hands, and jaws on, free subs, sips and chips next week, served fresh from an unmistakeable-looking bus.
Subway’s Sub Bus is heading for Brisbane’s King George Square on Monday April 14 as part of a 22-day, 2000km road trip along the east coast, in celebration of a new menu.
Brisbane’s CBD is one of just ten stops on the tour, and visitors will be able to take advantage of the pop-up ‘Tasty Town’ installation, offering free food, Croc charm and sock giveaways, mega outdoor games and even take a crack at Foot-long Limbo.
Umbrellas and beanbags will be set up throughout the square, giving Subway fans a cozy spot to kick back and enjoy subs from the chain’s new signature menu, including two new flavours, Philly-style three-cheese steak and deli supreme, dished out with free chips and a Lipton Iced Tea.
The installation won’t be around for long, setting up for just a few hours between 10am and 3pm, before heading south to the Gold Coast.
