SWEET tooths listen up, a new Cinnabon store is coming to Brisbane’s west.

The American-born franchise is due to open its fourth Queensland outlet in Indooroopilly this Friday, moving in next to Coles at Indooroopilly Shopping Centre.

“It’s always a risk (to open a new store) in these times but we want to keep the momentum going for the brand in Australia, and also meet the demand in the western suburbs of Brisbane where we have a lot of fans,” said Australian franchisor Richa Goyal from QSR Foods.

The Indro store will sell all the Cinnabon faves such as their classic roll, blueberry crumble, and chocolate hazelnut combo; as well as introducing a new bun: the Pecanbon Iced Latte.

There are already Queensland outlets in Toombul, Westfield Garden City and Robina Town Centre, with Sydney and Victoria next on the company’s wish list.

“We’re desperate to open in Sydney as we have so many fans crying out for it, but at this stage it won’t be until March 2022,” Ms Goyal said.

“We have three sites lined up in Victoria but there is no point opening with strict lockdowns around the state. The Government should have a roadmap by the end of this year on future lockdowns so we can make more certain plans for openings.”
