ANDREW Veal may be the Territory’s unluckiest fisho, catching a $10,000 barra two weeks before the official competition started — making it nothing more than a fish with a plastic tag in it.

Three of the Million Dollar fish were caught over the weekend with three lucky anglers taking home $35000 for their catches. The three fishos who bagged the coin are Mackay fisho Ryan Curtis who caught a double tagged barra, giving $5000 to his friend, Jamie Poniris caught a $10,000 fish in Yellow Waters after his girlfriend had called it a night and Will Riddick who caught a Million Dollar Fish off the Nightcliff Jetty.Photograph: Che Chorley
