After the successful implementation of the $10 digital ticket lottery for the hit musical Hamilton during its Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and US seasons, a similar initiative is being introduced for Moulin Rouge! The Musical in Brisbane.
The musical, adapted from the Baz Luhrmann film, has already attracted nearly one million Australian theatregoers, has seen sold-out seasons in Melbourne, Sydney, and Perth.
The Brisbane season, set to begin at QPAC‘s Lyric Theatre on May 16, is also on track to be a complete sellout.

The $30 digital lottery opens Thursday May 4, with successful entrants being given the opportunity to purchase up to two tickets at the exclusive price of $30.
The lottery system aims to make a limited number of tickets available for every performance at an affordable price, allowing more people to experience the award-winning show.
General Manager Australia of TodayTix Group, Rachel Nossack, expressed her excitement about the collaboration
“We are thrilled to be offering the TodayTix $30 digital Lottery for Moulin Rouge! The Musical in Brisbane,” she said.
“Moulin Rouge! The Musical is full of glitz and glamour, and our signature digital Lottery will expand access and enable even more people to experience this incredible show.”
Featuring many of the iconic hits from the original 2001 film, as well as additions from Adele, Katy Perry, Sia, Beyonce, Rihanna, Moulin Rouge! The Musical has taken the theatre world by storm, garnering 10 Tony awards.
HOW TO ENTER THE $30 TICKET DIGITAL LOTTERY
To enter the Moulin Rouge! The Musical digital lottery, participants must download the official TodayTix app, available for all iOS and Android devices. The lottery opens every Thursday at 12:01am AEST and closes the following Wednesday at 1:00pm AEST.
Participants who share the lottery on their social media accounts will gain an additional entry per platform. Winners will be notified via email, SMS, and push notification and will have one hour to claim and pay for their tickets through the TodayTix app before they are offered to another entrant.
