After exchanging nuptials at sunset by Castle Hill, the pair were cheered out of the elevator at their reception venue, the Dalgety Apartments penthouse, where O’Toole swapped a long-sleeve silk wedding gown for a white cocktail dress.
Sharing a photo of herself in Holmes’ arms to Instagram yesterday, she wrote: “#hitched You’re stuck with me now Mr Valentine. Thank you to all our friends and family who made our night so perfect.”
The high school sweethearts spent their wedding night at The Ville Resort, where O’Toole shared photos of their bed covered in rose petals and matching Mr and Mrs Holmes robes.
During the reception, the pair were videoed laughing and dancing, sharing a kiss on the dancefloor.
The reception included a large grazing table while guests posed in front of a “until death do us party” sign.
O’Toole’s sisters, Brianna Morgan, who married NRL star Michael Morgan in October, and Alexandra O’Toole wore By Johny bridesmaid dresses.
Holmes will begin training with the New York Jets’ practice squad this week.
His new wife will join him in the US.
