She had jetted in to Brisbane late the night before after a few days’ R&R on Hamilton Island, where she performed a special show in the Nova Red Room and rubbed shoulders with lucky fans.
There has also been speculation over which special guest Swift will invite on stage at Suncorp Stadium tonight, with frontrunners including wildlife warrior Bindi Irwin and Gold Coast-bed starlet Margot Robbie, both of whom recently returned home from commitments in the US.
Members of Swift’s entourage came and went from the Stamford yesterday, along with some mysterious-looking vehicles, however there was no visual confirmation of the star’s whereabouts.
Meanwhile, social media remains atwitter as fan anticipation reaches fever pitch.

FRONT RUNNERS: Who might appear on stage
At tonight’s show, Australian singer-songwriter Vance Joy is expected to entertain the crowd until the one-time country darling hits the stage at 8.30pm.
She’ll sing hits off her hugely successful 1989 album, which debuted at No.1 on the Billboard 200 albums charts after notching up almost 1.3 million in initial sales.
Luckily, she won’t have to contend with Queensland’s infamous summer heat - the temperature is expected to be a pleasant 23C.
