THERE are two big questions on the lips of Taylor Swift fans as they count down to tomorrow night’s Brisbane concert: Where is she now, and who will be her special guest on stage?
Blonde bombshell Margot Robbie is the hotly tipped favourite to appear on stage with her.
The pop star has so far remained tight-lipped about the celebrity she will invite to share the limelight with her at the gig.
But social media is abuzz with suggestions the star guest will be Robbie, who has just returned home to spend Christmas on the Gold Coast.
Other frontrunners include Bindi Irwin, who recently returned from her triumphant victory on the US version of Dancing With the Stars.
And judging by Tumblr, Swift fans are also keen to see Delta Goodrem appear alongside their idol.
Swift has so far invited a string of surprise guests on stage during her 1989 world tour, including Mick Jagger, Ricky Martin, Justin Timberlake, John Legend and Australians Keith Urban and model Andreja Pejic.
The guest appearances have always been veiled in secrecy.
Meanwhile a convoy of vehicles surrounded by security have come and gone from Stamford Plaza in the city’s CBD, where Swift is believed to be staying, however there have been no sightings of the star herself.
A group of around 15 girls have camped out the front of the Stamford since 9am Friday.
“We thought there would be more people here, she’s the biggest pop star in the world,” 16-year-old Taylor Bodman said.
“We’re just hoping to see her, it’d make our day.”
Earlier a group of dancers for Swift said they were setting out to see what Brisbane had to offer.
“We love Australia,” one of them said.
The majority of hotel guests said they had no idea Swift and her crew were staying in the hotel, however some joked that they had noticed the level of service had improved in the last day.
Speculation was rife that the pop star and her family were heading to Australia Zoo Friday morning to see some Australian wildlife, after she posted a picture with a koala on Hamilton Island on Thursday.
And Swift may now be in Brisbane, but it seems the pop star is still dreaming of her Hamilton Island getaway.
The 25-year-old, who plays at Suncorp Stadium Saturday night, has uploaded another photo of her time in the Whitsundays, showing herself with members of her 1989 tour crew.
Swift and the four ladies are laughing in the photo and all wearing similar dresses, with Swift captioning the photo: “When the girls came over wearing beautiful beachy dresses they got at the gift shop, then said they got me one too.”
The singer left Hamilton Island last night after spending three days there to relax and perform for the Nova Red Room.
She arrived in Brisbane just after 10 last night.
