A Parramatta property developer splashed $75,000 on a flamboyant 50th birthday bash, taking over one of Sydney’s top nightclubs.
In videos shared to social media, Jean Nassif was surrounded by scantily clad dancers and a cabaret singer covering Shirley Bassey classic Big Spender.
It is the latest episode in Mr Nassif’s evolution into an unlikely and, unwilling, social media star who has paraded his ostentatious lifestyle on Instagram.
Having hired the Boom Box space at Sydney’s Marquee nightclub for his recent birthday, he posted a video gifting his second wife Nissy a Lamborghini worth $480,000.

But it seems to have been one post too far as the unwanted attention has led Mr Nassif to delete his Instagram account this week while his wife has made her account private.
Mr Nassif owns Toplace, the property development firm behind several major developments in Western Sydney, including the new Skyview high-rise at Castle Hill. The family business was established more than 20 years ago.
Mr Nassif and his wife, who is the owner and director of the Wiping Tears charity — which says it helps families facing financial difficulties due to health issues — are regulars at local red carpet events.
In 2016, Nissy was MC at the Miss Lebanon Emigrant Australia event, which was won by Salim Mehajer’s sister Mary.
“She also starred in theatre plays such as Born Yesterday directed by Lex Marinos,” the couple’s company website stated.
“Through her media appearances, Nissy has quickly became (sic) popular among fashion magazines, international press and local top designers.”
Last week, Mr Nassif and his wife sparked a string of viral videos after he posted a clip to Instagram showing his wife’s reaction to being given the Lamborghini for Valentine’s Day.
In the clip, the Toplace director is heard saying: “Congratulations Mrs Nassif — do you like?”, as his wife casually strolls into the garage where the prized car is parked before blowing him a kiss.
An Instagram page titled Mrs Nassif has even been set up with 20 posts of spoof videos of the scene.
However, instead of a yellow Lamborghini, users have substituted items including toy cars, lemons, a toy truck, a rubber duck, banana, a Teletubbies doll, a wheelie bin, a container of Vegemite, a tin of tuna and a yellow bicycle.
