IT’S a girl! Former NRL player Braith Anasta has welcomed his second daughter and first child with partner Rachael Lee overnight. The couple has also revealed the baby’s name.

IT’S a girl! Former NRL player Braith Anasta has welcomed his second daughter and first child with partner Rachael Lee overnight.

The 36-year-old, who shares Aleeia with ex-wife Jodi Gordon, announced the news by revealing just her first name.

“PERFECTION! GiGi Anasta 21/1/18,” he wrote on Instagram with love hearts.

The newest addition to the Anasta clan is also the second child for Lee, who has one son Addison, 7, from a previous relationship.

The proud mum introduced her bundle on her Instagram page, telling her nearly 3500 followers her daughter weighed 2.8 kilos and measured at 47 centimetres long.

“MyBeautiful SoulBaby (sic), Gigi lee Anasta- born today,” she wrote last night.

“Couldn’t be more in love and obsessed with my girl.

“It’s been a long two days- and I’m glad it’s over (so is braith). Now we have a gorgeous baby girl! I love you (Braith).”

Gigi is born just six days after her doting father.

The couple announced their baby news in July last year on social media.

The former Sydney Roosters and Wests Tigers player revealed his ex-wife Gordon was the first to congratulate him on news he was expecting his second child via text message.

In August, Anasta told Confidential that both their former partners, including Lee’s ex, were supportive of their baby announcement.

“Rachael and I love kids,” Anasta at the time.

“We both have one of our own and now we’ve got a blended family, the four of us live together and we’re going to be adding another one to the clan so we’re really pumped.

“Aleeia’s really excited because she’s at that period where she loves babies. She walks around the house with dolls and is feeding them. She’s very proud.”
