Harrington Hotel
17/20
$$
The Harrington may look a little drab, but inside is a recently renovated dining area overlooking the sparkling Manning River. Be ready to share, as the servings here are large - the mezze plate for two ($25) is enormous, full of locally sourced ingredients and utterly delicious. A salmon main course is perfectly pink, with crisp asparagus and a wickedly good butter sauce. The seafood hotpot includes generous amounts of salmon, squid and prawns. It is surprisingly creamy and may be a little rich for some. Roast lamb rump and a special of seared swordfish with a blue spanner crab and watercress salad were also standouts.
