Caves Beachside Hotel
14/20
Contemporary$$
The site of the Caves Beach Caravan Park has become a stylish hotel framed by glass and an expansive deck with mesmerising ocean views. The menu is varied, with daily two-course specials and a Sunday roast, plus plenty of locally sourced produce including Hawkesbury River oysters and a Hunter Valley sirloin served with thick-cut chips and salad which is tender and cooked to perfection. The crispy salt-and-pepper squid was a little on the limp side but the accompanying salad with coriander, enoki mushrooms, peanuts, green papaya and snowpea leaves was light and tasty. Parents will appreciate the enclosed play area.
