Washington | Australia’s growing super fund investments in the United States were a good reason for President Donald Trump to exempt the country from his looming trade war, says NSW Treasurer Daniel Mookhey.

In his first trip to the United States since becoming treasurer, Mr Mookhey this week met investment managers including BlackRock, Blackstone, Apollo, JPMorgan and private equity giant KKR to drum up investment in NSW and better understand the Trump administration’s policies.
