Washington | President Donald Trump on Tuesday (Wednesday AEST) promised a deal with China that would leave current punitive trade tariffs of 145 per cent much lower.
He said if Beijing did not agree to a deal on trade, the US would set the terms. “We’re going to live together very happily and ideally work together,” Trump said.
