Wages, inflation set to rise in Chalmers first budget

Washington | Treasurer Jim Chalmers says Australians are likely to see their wages rise along with inflation in forecasts to be published in his first budget later this month.
Wage growth in Australia is now tracking at 2.6 per cent, with private sector wage growth at 2.7 per cent – the highest since September 2013.
