Washington | Authorities detained or arrested about 200 protesters on Saturday (Sunday AEST) at pro-Palestinian sit-ins on campuses nationwide, as student groups resisted orders to break down encampments while some universities pointed to antisemitic acts on their campuses.
In Boston, the Northeastern University police department cleared an encampment after the school claimed it had been “infiltrated by professional organisers with no affiliation to Northeastern,” according to a school spokesperson.
