Trump turns Musk conversation into a monologue

Donald Trump should have had an actual conversation with the world’s richest man, which may have helped his standings. But he couldn’t help being himself.

Washington | It was billed as a “conversation” between Donald Trump and the world’s richest person, Elon Musk, but listeners to X’s special event on Monday night (Tuesday AEST) got yet another of the former president’s monologues.

“I want to emphasise it’s a conversation,” Musk had advised before the glitch-delayed return of Trump to the platform formerly known as Twitter. “It’s really intended to just get a feel for what Donald Trump is just like in a conversation.”
