Washington | The European energy crisis is creating tensions within the Biden administration and Congress over whether the US should reconsider regulation on natural gas production and exports to contain domestic electricity prices.

The administration wants to cut emissions by winding down fossil fuels such as coal and gas but also wants to keep energy prices affordable for Americans.
