Rudd will ensure Australia is no US lackey: Sinodinos

Washington | Australia’s ambassador to the US, Arthur Sinodinos, insists his successor, former prime minister Kevin Rudd, will ensure Australia continues to have a powerful voice in Washington.
Mr Sinodinos on Thursday (Friday AEDT) rejected former prime minister Paul Keating’s comments last month that Australia’s foreign policy was dominated by an “army of little Americans” that only serves US interests.
