New York | Donald Trump is likely to eventually exempt Australia from his steel and aluminum tariffs, but negotiations are needed, Rio Tinto board director Jennifer Nason says.
Ms Nason played a key role in convincing Mr Trump to quarantine Australia from steel and aluminium tariffs when he proposed them during his first term in 2018, with the JPMorgan veteran writing a letter to his administration on that occasion.
