Australian businesses stand to benefit as the US ramps up its strategic competition with China, which Washington increasingly sees as hinging on technological supremacy, says Canberra’s top envoy to America, Arthur Sinodinos.
Speaking as President Joe Biden’s top diplomatic and military cabinet officials undertake a diplomatic blitz across the Indo-Pacific this week, Mr Sinodinos argued the new administration was taking a “systematic” approach to retooling and furnishing America with the strength it needs to win against its rival in the region.
