Washington | Donald Trump used a record two-hour-long speech in his first rally since being defeated in the 2020 election to attack the Biden administration’s border protection, environmental and energy policies, and take a swipe at Republicans working against his 2024 election bid.
Thousands of supporters turned up at a fairground in Wellington, Ohio, a state Mr Trump won in the 2020 election, to hear the former president endorse his White House adviser Max Miller in challenging incumbent Republican Anthony Gonzalez in congressional primaries. The congressman voted to impeach Mr Trump after the insurrection at the US Capitol in January.
