Middle East tensions raise election risks for Biden
Joe Biden’s Middle East foreign policy juggle risks turning into an election nightmare.
In September last year US Secretary of State Blinken was playing Hoochie Coochie Man on his guitar at the launch of the Global Music Diplomacy Initiative, while down by the Washington DC wharf National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan pleasingly told The Atlantic Festival that, “The Middle East region is quieter today than it has been in two decades.”
Optimism abounded.
