Los Angeles | Dozens of mayors from the Los Angeles region have called on the Trump administration to scale back its ramped-up hunts for illegal immigrants, as continued raids by authorities stoke fears of more violent demonstrations.
Local news outlets reported Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids on various locations around the greater city area on Wednesday (Thursday AEST), including home improvement stores, a car wash, gyms and churches.
