Inflation gets real for Tesla and Netflix

Two of America’s most watched companies have both confirmed what the Federal Reserve’s latest business report notes: that corporations are under increasing pressure to pass on to consumers surging input costs.

Washington | Tesla and Netflix, two of America’s most watched companies, have just confirmed what the Federal Reserve’s latest business report notes: that companies are under increasing pressure to pass on to consumers surging input costs.

The Fed’s so-called “Beige Book” report on economic conditions noted on Wednesday (Thursday AEST) that businesses were reporting price spikes and that some might not be so lucky when attempting to pass on the higher prices.
